Fiery truck crash closes eastbound 401 near Kingston

An early-morning crash involving a transport truck has closed the eastbound lanes of Highway 401, east of Kingston, but no one was hurt.
OPP say the crash happened early Thursday morning, when a transport truck hit a concrete barrier in a construction zone. The truck spilled a large amount of fuel, and burst into flames.
While there were no injuries in the crash, a highway overpass may be damaged.
The OPP say the eastbound lanes of Highway 401 will remain closed until staff from the Ministry of Transportation can inspect the overpass.
