Firefighters douse early morning Barrhaven blaze

The Ottawa Fire Service responded to 9-1-1 calls reporting flames at an abandoned building in the Barrhaven area early this morning.
Firefighters made quick work of a blaze on 1034 McGarry Terrace at 1:17 a.m., Saturday.
The fire was declared under control at 1:44 a.m.
The building was unoccupied.
No injuries were reported.
Ottawa Fire Services states an investigator is not required for the incident.
