Firefighters douse mobile home blaze in Bells Corners

Firefighters were called to the incident at 4:42 p.m., arrived at 4:46 p.m., and had the blaze under control by 4:51 p.m.

Ottawa Fire Services were called to deal with a west-end mobile home blaze Saturday evening.

Fire crews responded to a 9-1-1 call citing flames coming from the back of a mobile home on 37 Vanier Rd. at 4:46 p.m., Saturday.

Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes of being called. 

The flames were quickly extinguished. 

The owners were away and victim services were not called.

No injuries were reported. Estimated damages are under $50,000. 

A fire investigator was not requested.
