Hawkesbury OPP officers arrest and charge one man with numerous offences including mail theft

Between January and March of 2022, someone was stealing mail from the Canada Post office located in Vankleek Hill.

The Hawkesbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested and charged a 41-year-old man from Grenville, Québec with numerous offences after an investigating regarding mail theft at a post office in Vankleek Hill, Ontario. 

Between January and March of 2022, someone was stealing mail from the Canada Post office located in Vankleek Hill. 

Emmanuel Manard was charged with:

  • Theft from mail - a key used by Canada Post
  • Failure to comply with release order - other than to attend court
  • Theft of credit card
  • Two counts of possession of property obtained by crime - under $5,000
