The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 7 near the village of Maberly in the Tay Valley Township.
Officers were dispatched to the scene at approximately 12:25p.m. on Dec. 6 while Drummond-North Elmsley Tay Valley Fire Rescue Services (DNETV) were also on scene to help. The lone occupant of the vehicle has been transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation and anyone who may have information that can assist investigators is asked to contact the Lanark County OPP detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
