LGL health unit warns of possible COVID-19 exposure at Carleton Place car dealership

By CityNews Ottawa

The Leeds, Grenville and Lanark (LGL) District Health Unit is warning the public of potential COVID-19 exposure at a car dealership in Carleton Place.

In a release, the health unit says a person who visited the Bean Chevrolet Buick GMC dealership, at 375 McNeely Ave., between Saturday, November 13 and Monday, November 27, may have been exposed to COVID-19.

Anyone who was at the dealership during that time period is advised to monitor for symptoms, and isolate and get tested as soon as they feel any. Health officials are also urging those in the same household to stay at home until a negative COVID-19 test result is produced.

The health unit recommends that everyone continues to follow COVID-19 health measures, including staying home when sick, wearing a mask in indoor public spaces and practicing physical distancing when necessary.
