A Carleton Place brewery at the centre of controversy with the Liquor Control Board of Ontario has rebranded one of their popular beers.
Stalwart Brewing Company was forced to change their DR. FEELGOOD IPA label after the LCBO said it suggested the beer contained medicinal properties.
The initial logo showed a snake wrapped around sword, similar to the rod of Asclepius.
Stalwart said the name of the beer would be changed to Snake Oil IPA, but only for those on the shelves at the LCBO.
The brewer is awaiting the final approval from the LCBO.
