Andrew Ash is still processing a $100,000 win, playing the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation's (OLG) Instant Triple Play.
The 45-year-old retail supervisor was on his lunch break when he decided to play the game he'd never heard of.
"I saw that I won, but thought I won $5," Ash says. "When I scanned it and saw 'Big Winner - $100,000' appeared, I was in shock! I had to go back to work and I didn’t know how I was going to get through the rest of the day."
He showed his wife the ticket when he got home, but she didn't believe him right away.
"I waited until the next day when I could bring her with me to the store to have it validated so we could share the experience."
Ash says he doesn't have any immediate plans for his windfall.
"I’ll take it slow and make decision once I figure out my next steps," he adds. "It feels pretty awesome to win. I always hoped I would, but never thought I'd win this much."
The winning ticket was purchased at Circle K on Moodie Drive in Nepean.
