North Dundas woman charged after police uncover cocaine, oxy in Chesterville

A North Dundas woman is facing multiple drug offences in connection with a bust in Chesterville.

On Tuesday, June 22, the Stormont Dundas and Glengarry (SD&G) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), with assistance from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Emergency Response Team (ERT) and OPP Canine Unit, executed a search warrant at a home on Main Street.

Officers seized a quantity of suspected, cocaine, oxycodone and cannabis, as well as money and items typically associated with drug trafficking.

Sherrie Hunter, 61, of North Dundas, faces the following charges:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine)
  • Possession schedule I (other drugs)
  • Possession of property Obtained by crime under $5,000
  • Possessing cannabis for the purpose of selling

The accused has been released and is due in court in Cornwall on Tuesday, August 3.
