Ottawa man dead, home sustains significant damage after vehicle rollover

A 34-year-old man was extricated from the vehicle by Ottawa Fire Services and pronounced dead at the scene.

One person is dead and a house has sustained significant damage after a single vehicle rollover in Ottawa's Elmvale Acres neighbourhood. 

Emergency crews responded to the incident on Chapman Boulevard, between St. Laurent Boulevard and Smyth Road, at 11:57 p.m. on Tuesday, April 13. 

Ottawa Fire Services (OFS) had to cut one person from the vehicle, and the Ottawa Police Service (OPS) tells CityNews Ottawa the 34-year old man died at the scene. 

While the crash caused significant damage to the home, there were no injuries to anyone inside. 

The investigation into the crash continues.
