OPP searching for federal offender known to frequent Ottawa

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad is asking the public for help locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant.
Steven Mavis, 59, is described as:
- 5'10″ (178 cm)
- 200 lbs. (91 kgs)
- Brown hair
- Brown eyes
- Symbol tattoos on the left side of his neck, a crown and king on his left ring finger and a female on his left wrist.
Mavis is currently serving a 5-year-and-1 month sentence for the following:
- Possession of Schedule I/II Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Three counts)
- Operate Motor Vehicle While Disqualified
The OPP says Mavis, who is known to frequent Ottawa, is wanted for breaching his statutory release.
