Shortly after 4 p.m. on Sunday, Ottawa Fire Services responded to several 911 calls reporting black smoke coming from a bungalow on Meadow Drive, near Bank Street.

A working fire was declared as crews were nearing the scene, and an offensive attack was initiated.

The fire was under control by 4:40 p.m. and a loss stop was declared by 5 p.m.

There was no one home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries reported.
