Ottawa man charged with impaired driving in Arnprior

According to police, the man walked into the detachment Sunday afternoon and asked to speak to an officer.

An Ottawa man is facing impaired driving charges after driving himself to the Arnprior detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police. 

According to police, the man walked into the detachment Sunday afternoon and asked to speak to an officer. 

The OPP allege the man had been drinking and was also a disqualified driver under a probation order not to consume alcohol.
   
The 53-year-old man was arrested and faces charges including, impaired driving, driving while disqualified and failing to comply with a probation order.
   
The man is due in Renfrew court on May 30, 2018.
