Ottawa Police clock G2 drivers for stunt driving in the city’s west end

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS)' Traffic Unit clocked a pair of G2 drivers for stunt driving in the city's west end on Friday, August 12.
One of the G2 drivers was caught going 140km/hr in a 80km/hr zone on March and Rob Lytle Way, while the other G2 driver was going 112 km/hr in a 60 km/hr zone, on Fallowfield Road and Orr Street.
Officers were in Barrhaven last night with Operation #NOISEMAKER
69 Provincial Offence Notices were issued for speeding, improper muffler, and unnecessary noise to mention a few.

As part of the Operation Noisemaker initiative, the OPS Traffic Unit also issued nearly 70 provincial offence notices for speeding, improper mufflers and unnecessary noise in the Barrhaven area.
Police stopped and charged four vehicles for stunt driving and road safety.
