UPDATE: The Ottawa Police Service says one man is dead after a gunshot was heard at a Halifax Drive apartment, but the incident is not suspicious.
No one else was injured in the shooting.

There is a heavy police presence near Elmvale Acres after reports of an incident involving a gun.
The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) are on scene of what they describe as a “concerning gun call” on Halifax Drive, in the Urbandale neighbourhood.
The OPS says the call came in shortly before 5 a.m., on Friday, June 11, and investigators are trying to determine the exact nature of the incident.
Police currently have an apartment building and nearby home taped off.
No further details have been released by OPS at this time.
