UPDATE: Ottawa police searching for missing 55-year-old woman

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) continues to search for a 55-year-old woman who has been missing since Monday, May 16.

According to police, 55-year-old Stephanie Kolbach's family had been trying to reach her since last making contact, and the family is concerned for her safety and well-being.

Kolbach is described as Caucasian, 5'4″ with a thin build, short brown hair and blue eyes. She also has pierced ears and no known tattoos or scars.

The latest from police say Kolbach was spotted at the OC Transpo Hurdman Station on May 17 at about 4:10 p.m.

At the time, she was wearing a black coat, blue jeans, black shoes with white laces, black half-mask and glasses.

She was carrying a PC (Loblaws) reusable shopping bag.

Kolbach is known to frequent hiking trails in Ottawa and along the Ottawa River.
