Ottawa police trying to identify ‘persons of interest’ in York Street homicide

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is asking for help identifying two persons of interest related to a homicide that took place on York Street late Sunday night. 

Police say they were called to the area after gunshots were heard shortly before midnight.

Officers arrived and found a 20-year-old injured. He was later pronounced dead. A second man was also shot and injured but he is now in stable condition. 

The deceased man has been identified by police as L Ndongonzi Nkuziman of Ottawa, also known as Tyson Loris.

Anyone who recognizes these persons or has information on this Homicide is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit at 613-236-1222 ext. 5493.
