By Anil Jhalli

After a five game road trip that saw them lose three straight games, the Ottawa 67's were happy to be on home ice and earned a convincing 5-1 win over the Sudbury Wolves on Sunday, Nov. 27 inside The Arena at TD Place.

The 67's snapped their three game losing streak with the win, and now improve to 19-4-0 on the 2022-2023 Ontario Hockey League (OHL) season.

Max Donoso was sensational in goal for Ottawa, stopping 27 of 28 shots.

Henry Mews scored a pair of goals, his second and third of the OHL season, including the game winner for the 67's.

Cameron Tolnai, Tyler Boucher and Brad Gardiner also scored for the 67's.

Gardiner and Tolnai are now tied with Luca Pinelli and Brady Stonehouse with a team-high 12 goals.

The 67’s sweep their two-game season series with Sudbury.

Ottawa hosts the Flint Firebirds on Friday, Dec. 2 for their Nutcracker Ball Game inside The Arena at TD Place.
