Outbreak status lifted at Garry J. Armstrong long-term care home

By Alex Goudge

The COVID-19 outbreak status at the City of Ottawa's Garry J. Armstrong long-term care home has been lifted.

According to a memo from General Manager of Community and Social Services Donna Grey, there will be a phased transition into returning to regular activities following the outbreak.

However, the Centre d’accueil Champlain and Peter D. Clark centre remain on outbreak status.

Those homes will continue to follow enhanced COVID-19 guidelines to protect their residents and employees.
