Ottawa Public Health (OPH) has already received hundreds of calls from eligible residents looking to book their COVID-19 vaccination appointment at one of the three pop-up clinics, set to open on Friday.

The booking system was launched on Monday for residents of seven Ottawa communities identified as being high-risk.

According to a tweet from Mayor Jim Watson, OPH got more than 1,000 calls without issue from residents looking to book their appointments.

Eligible residents can book their appointments by calling 613-691-5505. Eligibility can be confirmed by using OPH's screening tool available on its website.
