Person extricated from two-vehicle crash in Goulbourn

The collision happened Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Shea Road and Flewellyn Road.

A collision in the city’s southwest end required that one person be extricated from their vehicle after they had been involved in a two-vehicle crash.

Ottawa Fire Services (OFS) said they received a call from Ottawa police reporting the incident at the intersection of Shea and Flewellyn Roads in Goulbourn on the afternoon of Saturday, October 23.

When firefighters arrived on scene, they confirmed one person was trapped in their vehicle and started the extrication process.

The person was extricated quickly and was transferred to the care of Ottawa paramedics.

No word was provided on the wellbeing of everyone involved in the incident at the time of publication.
