Police charge Ottawa man on sexual assault charges involving a child under 14

Ottawa police have arrested a man who they say was sexually assaulting a child in 2015 and 2016.
The suspect was charged and appeared in court on Friday. According to police, they received a tip in November 2018 relating to offences that took place years earlier in Overbrook.
As a result, Time Kabamba Ntalaja, 29 years old, of Ottawa, was charged with:
- Assault
- Sexual Assault
- Sexual Exploitation
- Sexual Interference
Police are concerned that there may be more victims, and are asking the public to contact the Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit if they know anything, at 613-236-1222, x 5944.
