Police continue to search 15-year-old girl missing since April near Ramsayville

Ottawa police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 15-year-old girl who has been missing since April.

Deziree Debessay (who also goes by the nicknames of Dezi or Angel) was last seen near the intersection of Russell Road and Walkley Road on April 23.

Debessay is described as a Black youth with light complexion, standing 5’7” tall, with long black/brown hair worn curley or straight and has brown eyes.

She has a notch in her right eyebrow.

Debessay has access to OC Transpo and is familiar with the O-Train and bus routes.

She has been known to stay in OC Transpo stations across the city.

Anyone with information on her current whereabouts is asked to contact Ottawa police at 613-236-1222.
