Police investigating after finding elderly woman injured

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is investigating after an elderly woman was found injured earlier this week.

On Sept. 18, at about 11 a.m, emergency services and police were called to a residence in the 200 block of Viewmount Drive.

A 70-year-old woman was found by family with severe injuries and was taken to hospital and is now in stable condition.

Investigators are trying to determine how she sustained the injuries.
