FOUND: Barrhaven 15-year-old who disappeared from home

Update 04:25 a.m.: The Ottawa Police Service has located the missing 15-year-old safe and sound. 

Officers would like to thank the public for their assistance. 


The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is looking for a missing teenager who disappeared from her home in Barrhaven overnight. 

Police say the 15-year-old left her home, near Greenbank Road and Cambrian Road, sometime between 11:30 p.m. on Monday, May 17, and 3 a.m., Tuesday, May 18.  

She is described as:

  • Indigenous
  • 5'2" tall
  • Small build
  • Chin length black hair

Last seen wearing:

  • Lime green 'Under Armour' hoodie with a blue band across the bottom
  • Blue 'Keen' running shoes
  • Carrying a grey tote bag

Her family is concerned for her safety and well-being.

Anyone with information on her current whereabouts is asked to call Ottawa police at 613-236-1222, extension 2912.
