Police seeking witnesses to serious collision

Investigators with the Ottawa Police Service (OPS) Collision Unit are seeking witnesses to a serious collision earlier this month.
 
At roughly 8:45 a.m. on Oct. 5, officers responded to a collision at the intersection of Carling Avenue and Scrivens Street involving a black Honda Accord and a pedestrian. The pedestrian, a woman in her 60s, was transported to a hospital with life-threatening. She died in hospital yesterday (Oct. 6). 
 
The OPS is looking to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dashcam footage.
