Richmond man claims $500K in lottery win

A Richmond man is all smiles after winning $500,000 in a Lotto Max Maxmillions prize.

Donald (Don) Siurna has been playing the lottery for a long time, and it finally paid off for him in a big way.

“This is my first big win,” he said after picking up his prize at the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) Prize Centre in Toronto. “I checked my ticket using the OLG app after the draw and I was surprised by all the zeroes!”

He plans to pay off his mortgage and complete some summer projects around his house with his winnings.
