Rideau Canal still not ready: NCC

The National Capital Commission (NCC) is advising Ottawa residents to stay off the Rideau Canal Skateway as the ice is still not ready.
Due to the warm temperatures expected this week, the public is asked to remain off the Rideau Canal Skateway, as ice remains dangerously thin,” the NCC said on its website. “Signs have been posted at access points to advise the public of this danger.”
