Rogers to air national special program ‘Ending Racism: What Will it Take?’

By Mike Vlasveld

Rogers Sports and Media wants to continue the conversation regarding racism in Canada, and what can be done to curb it.

A one-hour special, Ending Racism: What Will it Take?, is set to air Thursday, June 11, at 7 p.m., across all Rogers' TV and digital channels.

Hosted by Cityline’s Tracy Moore and Sportsnet’s Donnovan Bennett, the national prime-time show will examine the events that sparked protests around the world and will take a sobering look at systemic racism and injustices faced by Canada’s Black, Indigenous, and equity-seeking communities.

The discussion will feature activists, journalists, executives and athletes from across the country, who will share their unique experiences with systemic discrimination and their views on how all Canadians can advocate for impactful change.

Viewers can join the conversation on social media using the hashtag #EndingRacism.

Canadians can watch and stream Ending Racism: What Will It Take? on Citytv, OMNI Television, Rogers tv community stations, Sportsnet and Rogers Radio news websites like this one.

The special is the first of ongoing initiatives from Rogers Sports and Media over the coming months to continue to drive the conversation with Canadians.
