While police have received a few tips surrounding the disappearance a missing 11-year-old girl, she is still missing.

Nakayla Baskin hasn't been seen since Monday, September 24 and her family has made a plea to the public to help find her.

While Nakalya is 11-years-old, police say she could easily pass for someone much older.

She hasn't been active on social media since her disappearance and police say her phone is an older model that can't be tracked.

While she is from the Carlington area, she is also known to frequent the Russell Road area, as well as the St. Laurent Centre and the Rideau Centre.

Police are continuing to follow up on tips and are asking anyone with information to contact them at (613) 236-1222, ext. 2355 (Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.) or 613-230-6211, for 24 hour assistance.

If you see Nakyala, you're asked to call 911.

Nakayla is described as:

-150 lbs.
-medium to large build
-light brown/blondish shoulder length hair
-usually wears hair up in a “messy bun”
