Upper Valley Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers executed a Controlled Drug and Substances Act warrant on a residence in Pembroke.
On Friday, July 29 just after 1 p.m., OPP officers from the community street crime unit (CSCU) with assistance from the tactics and rescue unit (TRU), the emergency response team (ERT) and the canine unit executed a warrant on Mary Street in the city of Pembroke.
There were no injuries and there are no public safety concerns. Seven people were taken into custody at the time.
The investigation is still ongoing and more information will be released next week when it becomes available.
