No injuries were reported after Ottawa firefighters responded to a home in Ottawa's south end after a flat bed truck caught on fire and extended to a nearby shed.
Ottawa Fire Services (OFS) received a call just before 3:40 p.m. on Dec. 29 from a person from a home located on Mitch Owens Road off of Anderson Road and 9th Line Road.

Responding crews were able to see a large amount of black smoke from a distance.
The shed had propane and gas inside along with roughly 5,000 cases of wood pellets. The fire burned through the cases of wood pellets used for heating homes.
There were no occupants inside the shed and the fire was declared under control at 5:30 p.m.
