Residents affected by the tornadoes that ripped through Ottawa and Gatineau back in September, will receive some help from a free benefit concert at TD Place.

The United Way and the CUPE 503 have teamed up to host “After The Storm: A Benefit Concert,” to raise money to support those who still need a helping hand.

The all-star line up includes names like The Jim Cuddy Band, Matt Mays, Kellylee Evans, Jim Bryson and much more.

“There are still over 150 houses that are destroyed. [The United Way] are going to be helping people with mental health support, helping with groceries and going back to the food banks,” said CUPE's Will Kelly.

Listen to the full conversation with Will Kelly of CUPE 503 and Kevin Duffy of Live Nation on 1310 NEWS' Ottawa Today with Mark Sutcliffe:

“Whatever we raise that night, by Friday it's all out. Every single penny of that will be out.”

The show kicks off is this Saturday, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. and the show starting at 6 p.m.

A full line-up can be found on the United Way Ottawa website.
