Three charged in connection to racist graffiti

Three people are facing charges in connection to racist graffiti in the east end of the city.
According to police, the damage to property occurred around 1 a.m. Sunday in an area bound by Lees Avenue, Chestnut Street, Springhurst Avenue and Main Street.
Parked vehicles, houses and the play structure at a local park were all vandalized and spray painted.
The damage is pegged around $5,000.
Connor Hutcheson, 18, faces one count of mischief to property over $5,000.
Thomas Gagnon-Jones, 19, faces one count of mischief to property over $5,000.
A male young offender is also charged with one count of mischief to property under $5,000 and one count of assault with intent to resist arrest.
