UPDATE: Ottawa police looking for witnesses to fatal collision involving pedestrian on March Road

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is looking for witnesses to a fatal crash involving a pedestrian in Kanata.

Emergency crews responded to the collision on March Road, near Teron Road, around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 2.

Police say a 38-year-old Ottawa man was crossing March Road eastbound when he was hit by a 2021 red Kia Forte that was travelling northbound.

The man was pronounced dead on scene.

Investigators are looking to speak with anyone who witnessed the crash, assisted emergency responders on scene or may have dash cam footage of the accident.
