Wet weekend on tap for Ottawa; double digit temperatures next week

By Alex Black

You'll want to have your umbrella and rain boots handy this weekend in Ottawa.

While the week is finishing off on a dry note, rain is forecast overnight and through the weekend.

According to 1310 NEWS meteorologist Jill Taylor, a cloudy day will give way to rain overnight, with the rain continuing through Saturday.

On Sunday, the forecast calls for showers and a cooler temperature — only getting up to a high around 5 degrees.

Next week looks to be dry and warm to start, with a high around 22 degrees by Tuesday.
