The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) says 24 players and staff members within the Gatineau Olympiques organization have tested positive for COVID-19.

The announcement, Monday, April 12, comes after the latest round of COVID-19 testing done by the league.

All players and team officials remain in mandatory isolation.

The QMJHL adds that the situation doesn't interfere with its objective to begin the 2021 President Cup Playoffs on April 23, however.
