More than 60 Senators’ players and alumni ready for Fan Fest

By Mike Vlasveld

The Ottawa Senators' annual Fan Fest will return to Canadian Tire Centre in just a couple of weeks.

More than 60 Senators players and alumni are expected to participate in the event, which supports the Ottawa Senators Foundation and Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities.

Fan Fest will feature a Senators' intra-squad game, autograph sessions, team practices, interactive games, a Senators' Locker Room Sale featuring game-used equipment, fan press conferences and entertainment throughout the arena.

It will all take place on Sunday, September 16.

Several interactive components from the Sens Street Tour, including balloonists and face-painters, will be available to fans outside of Gate 1 throughout the day.

Additionally, the Sens Store will host a Locker Room Sale featuring new and used team equipment along with game-worn jerseys.

General admission tickets, which will include access to each of Fan Fest's components, are now available for purchase. Tickets can be bought prior to the event for a reduced price of $10, at all Ottawa area Canadian Tire stores. The hockey club says tickets can also be purchased online through for $10 — that includes taxes, but excludes CRF and convenience fees. Tickets will be available on-site for $15, while Senators' season-seat members can purchase tickets through their Senators online account or by contacting their account manager.

Free parking will be available throughout the day at Canadian Tire Centre.

More information will be made available on the Senators website and social channels as Fan Fest approaches.
