Ottawa Senators to pay part-time staff during COVID-19 pandemic, ‘based on individual need’

The Ottawa Senators plan to pay part-time arena staff who require support during the coronavirus pandemic.
The hockey club released a statement Monday night, saying it had just completed plans and “is committing to developing a program based on the individual needs of staff members.”
“We will be working with every individual and evaluating every individual need to minimize the impact on those employees,” the statement read.
The Sens have already asked all of their staff members to work from home until further notice.
