Proof-of-negative COVID test no longer good enough to get into TD Place

By Mike Vlasveld

The Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group (OSEG) is making an adjustment to its mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for fans ahead of this weekend.

OSEG announced its policy two weeks ago, which requires all guests over the age of 12, employees and event staff to have their two shots against COVID-19 14 days before entering TD Place anytime on or beyond September 12.

It was initially going to allow patrons in if they could show proof of a negative COVID-19 test, but that is no longer going to cut it as of Tuesday, September 7.

“Other than for verified medical and Ontario Human Rights Code exemptions, proof of a negative COVID-19 test will no longer be accepted for admittance to ticketed events at TD Place,” explains OSEG on its web page.
