Redblacks announce numerous signings including players from 2022 CFL draft

The Ottawa Redblacks announced on May 10 the team signed seven rookies from this year's Canadian Football League (CFL) draft and two players from the 2022 Global draft. 

From the 2022 CFL draft, the team signed first round selection Zack Pelehos, an offensive lineman out of the University of Ottawa, who was drafted second overall.

Second round selection, another offensive lineman, Cyrille Hogan-Saindon, third round pick Keaton Bruggeling, a wide receiver, fourth round selection and defensive back Daniel Valente, Subomi Oyesoro, a linebacker and the Redblacks' six round pick, Connor Ross, a tight end and full back, who was drafted in the seventh round and Luca Perrier, a running back and the team's eighth round pick, were all signed by the club.

Defensive back Edris Jean-Alphonse, who was drafted in the second round of the 2022 Global draft and third round selection, kicker Gabriel Ballinas, were also signed today.
