The Ottawa Redblacks look for payback as the team hosts the defending Grey Cup champions, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, at TD Place on Friday, June 17.
Ottawa's Canadian Football League (CFL) team kicked off the 2022 season with a loss to Winnipeg one week ago.
Chris Hofley, the communications manager for the Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group, said tickets for tonight's home opener are still available.
"It's a beautiful day out and the weather looks like it will be good tonight as well," he said to CityNews Ottawa. "We really want to see everyone out there."
The first 18,000 fans at tonight's game are receiving thundersticks to keep the atmosphere loud and energetic, and there will be live music, a 50/50 draw, a flyover by two CF-18 fighter jets and five dollars for beer.
Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m.
