Team owner Jeff Hunt says Ottawa has been one of the best junior hockey markets in the country before, and thinks the team will be good enough to regain that status. 

A University of Ottawa sports management professor says it will be an uphill battle.

"I've stood by this team through countless ups and downs, but I cannot stand with you any longer," said Erin Collins.

The 44-year-old has been involved in the player representation industry for the past 15 years, most recently with CAA Hockey.
