A drug bust on Sunday has a 45-year-old South Dundas man facing three offences.

A search warrant was executed on County Road 31 in South Dundas Township and resulted in the seizure of hydromorphone, percocet pills and some Canadian cash.

Robert Merkley of South Dundas, was arrested, but has been released and is scheduled to appear in Cornwall court on May 2.

Around 11:30 a.m. on Monday, OPP officers responded to a report of a break-in at a home on Chesterville Queen Street in North Dundas Township.

An investigation showed that sometime last week, a suspect or suspects broke into a garage and took tools, a guitar, amplifier, sub-woofer and a car stereo.

Later Monday, police on Hwy 401 in South Dundas Township stopped a vehicle which was caught travelling 156 km/hr. A 28-year-old Scarborough woman is facing one count of stunt driving.
