One provincial police officer on duty in Spencerville, south of Kemptville, is having their cake and eating it too.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say while its members were conducting an anti-speeding program on County Road 21 they got a surprise from a local community member.
The OPP say a resident of the area wanted to thank them for what they were doing to keep kids in the community safe, so she gave the officer a piece of cake and a bottle of water.
Provincial police said on Twitter that this act of kindness made the officer's day.
