Arrest made in Gatineau home invasion

A 42-year-old woman is facing charges, including assault, after a break-in on Buckingham Avenue.

Gatineau police say the incident happened shortly after 8 p.m., October 29 at 356 Buckingham Ave.

Two men and a woman were inside the home when it was broken into. A man in his fifties suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say the suspects quickly fled in a vehicle after confronting the homeowners.

Julie Dumouchel, 42, of Thurso, was arrested last Thursday, November 8, and is facing charges of:

– Break and enter
– Sequestration
– Removal
– Armed aggression
– Assault
– Extortion
– Uttering threats

The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected.
