Arrest made in pair of Merivale Road robberies

A 32-year-old Ottawa man is facing charges, including robbery and assault, after two incidents on Merivale Road.
The Ottawa Police Service says the incidents happened on November 5 and 6, on Merivale Road, between Kirkwood Avenue and Carling Avenue.
Jason Dooley has been charged with:
– Robbery
– Robbery and assault with intent to steal
– Possess weapon for committing an offence (2 counts)
– Breach of recognizance
– Breach of probation
Dooley is scheduled to appear in show cause court today.
