Canada-wide warrant issued for 17-year-old accused in Lowertown murder

Investigators believe that the accused did not act alone and are still looking for other suspects.

The Ottawa Police Service is issuing a Canada-wide arrest warrant for a 17-year-old, accused in the shooting death of Creflo Tansia in Lowertown. 

The teen is being charged with one count of first degree murder after the incident on Murray Street on August 10.

Investigators believe that the accused did not act alone and are still asking for the public’s help in identifying any other suspects.

As the investigation continues and police are asking anyone with information to contact the Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit at 613-236-1222 ext. 5493.
