Crack, marijuana and shatter uncovered in Vanier bust

Five people are facing drug-related charges after the Ottawa Police Service executed a search warrant on Durocher Street in Vanier.

The Guns and Gangs Unit raided a home near Carillon Street, around 5 p.m. last Saturday.

Officers seized crack cocaine, marijuana, and shatter with a street value more than $1,500, along with digital scales, cell phones, drug packaging materials and about $3,500 in cash.

Kyle Crawford, 28, Tyler Gravel, 26, William Fogarasy, 28, Josee Gibeault, 38, and Marny Craddock, 50, all from of Ottawa, are all charged with:

– Possession for the purpose of trafficking in a schedule I substance
– Possession of a schedule II substance (2 counts)
– Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
