Four arrested in a pair of Aylmer-area drug raids

Police turned up heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, pot, meth and hash, among other drugs in two searches.

The Gatineau Police Service says four people could face drug trafficking-related charges after it uncovered a variety of drugs in a pair of Aylmer-area homes.

The raids happened at dawn on August 24, at 196 Front Street and at 141 Rue de la Terrace-Eardley, following a two-month-long investigation.

In total, officers found:

- 34.6 g of heroin
- 107.7 g of cannabis
- 11.8 g of cocaine
- 4.2 g of hashish
- 1 g crystal meth
- 1 g of powdered fentanyl
- Five fentanyl stamps
- Nearly 500 tablets of methamphetamine
- 40 prescription drug tablets
 - $2,000 in Canadian money

Four people, two men and two women, ranging in age from 23 to 33, all await potential charges.
